Compact self-braking descender for rope access, designed for experienced users RIG is a compact self-braking descender for rope access, designed for experienced users. It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable descent control. The AUTO-LOCK system allows users to easily position themselves at the work station without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the device. Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. The safety gate allows the rope to be installed with the device remaining connected to the harness.

Easy to Use Features

• Safety Gate on Moving Side Plate: Facilitates easy rope installation while the device remains attached to the harness, ideal for passing intermediate anchors seamlessly.
• Rope Guide and Markings: Ensure straightforward rope installation, reducing setup time and minimizing errors.
• Ergonomic Handle: Provides convenient descent control with two descent modes: using the side plate or the V-shaped friction channel. The handle also features an AUTO-LOCK system for positioning at workstations without manual adjustment.
• Automatic Lock and Snag Prevention: The rope is automatically locked when the handle is released, with an automatic return system to limit snag risks. The handle switches to storage position when the rope is removed, further reducing snagging risks when carried on the harness.

• Locking and Rope Take-Up: Once locked, the rope can be taken up without handle manipulation, facilitating easy short ascents or adjustments.
• Cam Manipulation: Allows for easy slack take-up or to belay a lead using standard climbing techniques, enhancing the device’s adaptability for various climbing scenarios.
