ASTRO® BOD FAST International Version

Ultra-comfortable rope access harness With an integrated CROLL L ventral rope clamp, the ASTRO BOD FAST harness is designed for greater efficiency and comfort during rope ascents. The gated ventral attachment point allows optimal integration of equipment (such as rope clamp, or seat). The wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide excellent support. They are contoured and lined with breathable foam padding for comfort when suspended. The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles at the rear of the harness, between the waistbelt and the leg loops, allow for a shorter adjustment when the dorsal attachment point is used. The harness also makes it easier to carry and organize work tools, with multiple gear loops and slots for attaching CARITOOL tool holders and TOOLBAG tool pouches. It has a fall indicator on the dorsal attachment point and is certified to North American and European standards. ASTRO BOD FAST (international version) features leg loops with FAST buckles.

Efficient Equipment Integration

• Gated Ventral Attachment Point: Can be opened to integrate equipment efficiently for various operational needs:
• Connect the CROLL L ventral rope clamp for enhanced efficiency during rope ascents.
• Attach a PROGRESS lanyard directly to the ventral point for secure progression.
• Link the PODIUM seat to the axle of the attachment point, allowing the load to be supported by the descender, enhancing mobility and comfort at the ventral attachment.

Ultra-Comfortable Design

• Semi-Rigid Support: Wide waistbelt and leg loops, sculpted and lined with breathable foam padding, provide excellent support and comfort during suspension.
• Shoulder Strap Comfort: Padded and widely spaced to reduce neck chafing and distribute load effectively when the waistbelt is loaded.
• Metallic Side Attachment Points: Allow easy connection of equipment and can be folded down to prevent accidental snagging.

Easy Adjustment Features

• DOUBLEBACK Buckles: Self-locking on waistbelt and shoulder straps for quick, easy adjustments.
• FAST Buckles: Located on leg loops and shoulder straps to facilitate quick donning and doffing without loss of adjustment, even while wearing gloves.
• Dorsal Attachment Adjustment: Allows for precise fitting on the dorsal point to better distribute weight during suspension, enhancing comfort during rescue situations.

Tool Organization and Carrying

• Equipment Storage: Six pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheaths for secure tool access.
• Tool Slots: Two slots for CARITOOL tool holder and two slots for TOOLBAG tool pouch, facilitating organized and easy tool access.

Safety Indicators

The international version of the harness features a fall indicator: a red strap that appears on the dorsal attachment point after a fall, signaling that the harness should be retired to ensure safety compliance and integrity.
