Double lanyard with integrated energy absorber and MGO connectors ABSORBICA®-Y MGO is a double lanyard with compact energy absorber, designed for progression on a vertical structure or a horizontal lifeline, and for passing intermediate anchors. It functions with users weighing between 50 and 140 kg. It is available in two lengths: 80 or 150 cm versions (without connectors). The 150 cm version has elasticized arms to avoid hindering progression. Equipped with two large-opening MGO connectors and a Bm’D connector with a CAPTIV positioning bar, it is certified to American, European, and Russian standards.

• Impact Force Reduction: Features webbing that tears during a fall to limit the impact force exerted on users weighing between 50 and 140 kg, with progressive tearing that helps reduce deceleration for lighter users.
• Compact and Flexible: The compact design of the energy absorber facilitates handling, and the FLEX version includes 150 cm of elasticized webbing to enhance mobility without hindering progression.
• Protected Design: Housed in a durable fabric pouch with an opening system at each end, the energy absorber is shielded from abrasion and contaminants while allowing for regular inspection.

Installation Flexibility

• Connection Options: Provides multiple installation options on the harness to adapt to different usage scenarios:
  • Frequent Connection/Disconnection: Can be connected using a carabiner supported by the STRING positioning accessory for correct alignment or a MICRO SWIVEL to prevent tangling.
  • Semi-permanent Connection: Alternatively, it can be secured using a RING OPEN gated ring for optimal positioning or a SWIVEL OPEN to avoid tangling.
