Kariba - Dam or Wide Parapet Anchor - Kratos

The Kratos KARIBA Parapet Anchorage is a temporary, transportable anchorage system intended for use in locations where a parapet (or dam) serves as an adequate anchorage structure. It enables access, suspended work, fall arrest and emergency/evacuation operations during facade work.

It must be installed on a parapet with a minimum thickness of 50 cm and a maximum thickness of 103 cm. It is also suitable for parapets with coping.

The walls must be strong enough to withstand static loads applied in the direction of use of at least 14 kN. A security perimeter must be set up around the KARIBA’s location once installed in order to prevent an unauthorised third party from tampering with it.

The Kratos KARIBA anchorage comes with its carrying strap FA 60 045 01. This anchorage lanyard is EN 795:2012 type B certified and can be used to provide auxiliary anchorage for a user. Its length is adjustable from 0.88 m to 1.30 m and has been tested at 18 kN
